terms
last updated 21 july 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and No Alternative. By using the service you accept them.
the service
No Alternative is a tool for building concentration: a focus timer with a short list of tasks and a record of the time you spend. It is offered free of charge and provided as it is, without any promise that it will suit a particular purpose.
your account
You can use the timer anonymously or create an account with an email and password. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. One person, one account.
acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law with it, or use it to harm others;
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt the service or the systems behind it;
- try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, or work around its security.
your content
Your tasks and your phrase are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you so the service can run. We claim no other rights over them.
availability
The service may be slow, interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time, without notice. It is free, and we don’t guarantee uptime or that your data will always be reachable — which is exactly why you can export it whenever you like.
no warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost time, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
ending it
You can stop at any time and delete your account from settings. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, and by the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live within the EU.
changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
